Time to Act – Urgent Care and A&E: the patient perspective

This report explores the reasons patients choose to attend A&E, and how it might be possible to reduce some of this burden. The authors note that it is most commonly the patient who makes the judgement that their problem is ‘urgent’ or that it is appropriate to access A&E.
