Increasing the number of young people working for the NHS will have a significant impact on the sustainability of the workforce and contribute towards better patient care.
NHS Employers have developed a range of useful information, tools and resources to help organisations:
- understand why bringing more young people into the NHS workforce can help your organisation
- see how other organisations are already tailoring their recruitment process for young people
- establish your own local campaign to recruit more 16 – 24 year olds into the NHS
- engage with young people and provide them with valuable experiences that can ease the transition from education to the world of work through adapting your recruitment processes and offering work experience.
