Teenage pregnancy

The Local Government Association has published Good progress but more to do: teenage pregnancy and young parents. This report looks at the work that local councils and their partners have been undertaking to reduce teenage pregnancy rates in the UK.  The conception rate for young women aged 15 to 17 has been halved since 1998 and is now the lowest it has been since record-keeping began in the late 1960s. The report includes case studies from across the country of projects developed to reduce teenage pregnancy and provide support to young mothers and fathers.
