Mobile testing labs to be introduced to reduce premature deaths amongst people with mental illness

Lancashire Teaching Hospital has developed a new service to test for long-term conditions such as diabetes and CVD among people with mental health problems, by taking testing to people in pop-up clinics, rather than relying on them to attend their GP or hospital appointments.
